Authors who publish in the journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right to publish the scientific paper for the first time under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the scientific paper providing obligatory links to the authors of the original scientific paper and the original publication in the journal.
- Authors retain the right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the scientific paper (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with a link to its initial publication in the journal.
- Authors have the right to post their scientific paper on the Internet (for example, in an institute repository, a personal website, or repositories like arxiv.org) before and during the journal's review process, as this can lead to a productive discussion and more links to the scientific paper (See The Effect of Open Access).
